Default Small McGanns - Series Four

I see that Lucie Miller is leaving at the start of the fourth series of McGann adventures in a story entitled Death In Blackpool... not surprised, Sheridan Smith must be too busy with other commitments! A new companion will join him, but they won't be named until 2010.

Series four looks like this so far:

Death In Blackpool (Nicholas Briggs) - out Dec 2009
    Situation Vacant (Eddie Robson)
    Nevermore (Alan Barnes)
The Book of Kells (Barnaby Edwards)
    Deimos (Jonathan Morris)

Guest stars include Ryan Sampson, Terence Hardiman, Graeme Garden, Tracy Ann-Oberman, Nicky Henson, Susan Brown, David Warner and Nick Briggs as the Ice Warriors.

That's a bit of a surprise - these can't take long to do, and she's always sounded on the behind the scenes clips as if she loves it.

She may have got a big TV show or theatre gig abroad meaning she just can't make time to do it. Don't bet against her returning at some point though!

    Same old writers I see.

From a life of tests, where something's always at stake
    Where something's always so far...'

Nothing would make me less excited than a Nick Briggs story. Why is it going to be any good when his Silurian and Wirrn ones wern't?
