    Default Signature links?

Had a brief discussion with Phil about this, and he suggested I bring it up here.

You may or may not have noticed that I've tried putting a link into my signature - I found that I'm not allowed to put in full http:// URLs into signatures. Instead, I had to make do with putting the URL without the http:// bit - it's not clickable, but at least serves as something that can be cut-and-pasted into a link if anyone can be bothered (and some browsers, such as FF, seem happy to add in the http or www bits for you)... though I'm inclined to guess that if a link's not clickable, it's likely to be ignored.

Is it possible for full, clickable URLs to be enabled in signatures?

(FYI, as my signature states, the link in mine points to my deviantArt page, which includes my drawing gallery and blog).

URLs are banned from sigs. It's part of the forum rules I'm afraid Ashley.

The reason is that we used to get people posting just to advertise their website or whatever. We arn't especially competitive as a forum - but we have always drawn the line at people who use their posts to persaude our members to go elsewhere. I know in this case your URL probably isn't another Doctor Who forum, but we have to have the same rule for everyone unfortunately!
