Re-released 19th October with bonus tracks!

Meanwhile I'm delighted to hear that Ro is covering Bob Dylan's "Ring Them Bells" (not even a Christmas song!) on his festive long player! A decent song for him at last!!

The only small question now is if they'll add the missing "Sweet Dreams" video onto the UK video selection. It looks possible - it's on the track listing - the trouble is they put the Making of Sweet Dreams onto the US edition DVD, so it could possibly be refering to that.

Out now for gay people everywhere to buy:

Alas, beware those searching for hands-in-the-air dance mixes. It's a cd of jazz standards. Look in her eyes - she knows it is thus.

It smells of tangerines, cinnamon, misletoe and rotten egg fried rice.

9th March 2010. Also box set of Are You Experienced?, Axis: Bold as Love, Eletric Ladyland and First Rays of the New Rising Sun in cardboard sleeves with mini documentaries. Basically the ultimate Hendrix reissue ever! The final flog! Vallleys of Neptune is 60 minutes of stuff he recorded 1968-1970 that is available on youtube but cleaned up. I've heard at least 7 of the 12 tracks and I'll still be buying the "new" album at least. I know the "Time Team" got stuck on the 12th Pink Floyd album, but can we at least Time-Team the five albums in the box set from Jimi Hendrix please?

9th March 2010. Finally, I can look people in the eye and say "Yes. I have bought an album from 2010!"

Having seen his name splattered around as a guest on various shows, I've discovered that Meat Loaf's new album comes out on Monday 19/4

Despite all the blurb about all the people who've collaborated on it, listening to the previews of the tracks on Amazon fills me with a sense of dread. Given I only liked about 50% of the last album, I think this might be the 'Blind Before I Stop' for the 21st century
