My top ten would probably include:

    Revelation of the Daleks
    The Caves of Androzani
    The Robots of Death
    The War Games
    Remembrance of the Daleks
    Horror of Fang Rock
    Earthshock
    The Dalek's Masterplan
    Inferno
    The Seeds of Doom

...because those are the ones I enjoy watching the most.

I find a definitive Top 10 very difficult, but based on pure favouritism/enjoyment factor, rather than deliberately & diplomatically trying represent a broad spectrum of Who, It would probably be something like:

    Genesis of the Daleks
    Pyramids of Mars
    Planet of the Spiders
    Terror of the Autons
    Seeds of Doom
    The Green Death
    Planet of the Daleks
    Brain of Morbius
    The Silurians
    Spearhead From Space

With a list like that there's obviously plenty of red hot action to be seen from Wayne's sofa!

    All great choices, Mr Penny!

Except for Logopolis, and that crap plan to flush the Master out of the TARDIS.

For easons not worth mentioning, that sentence makes me think of the Master sat on the toilet.

I've got an image of Anthony Ainley's Master holding a toilet brush, struggling with a big mammoth poo.

Wayne, in your haste to compile your list, you appear to have omitted The Gunfighters!

and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine!

Martin must really want Assassin on DVD - it's the only of his top 10 not on shiny disc! (I wouldn't mind it myself, come to that!)

    Power of the Daleks
    The Ark in Space
    Pyramids of Mars
    Brain of Morbius
    The Robots of Death
    The Talons of Weng-Chiang

I'm surprised Wayne's list didn't have more stories with "of the Daleks" in the title...

I hate ranking, so I'll just try to list a favorite or two from each Doc...

Hartnell: The Dalek's Master Plan, The Aztecs

Troughton: The War Games, Tomb of the Cybermen

Pertwee: The Daemons, Invasion of the Dinosaurs

Baker: The Ribos Operation, Full Circle

Davison: The Five Doctors, Mawdryn Undead

Baker: The Two Doctors, Mark of the Rani

McCoy: Battlefield, The Curse of Fenric

He could use his TCE to shrink it before flushing!

Much as i love the wee saltshakers, their best stories are largely non Pertwee ones, & my fondness for the Pertwee era (& early Tom) is overwhelming.

*Waits for Si Hart to say: 'Well why did you include "Planet", then?'

I've seen "The Aztecs" for the first time and it's brilliant! It surely must feature as a personal top ten story, I thought it was marvellous.

It's certainly my favourite historical story. I even got my History teacher to play the first episode in class at school. Surprisingly it went down well.

It's a cracking story, and made even more enjoyable from the clean-up and VidFIRE on the DVD release!
