This is very exciting! Apart from the 8 minutes of off-air colour from one of the later episodes, most of us have NEVER seen any of this story in colur, so it will give it a completely new look and feel.

There was a big screening of The Mind of Evil yesterday and there's been positive feedback about the colourisation on Twitter. Katy Manning in paticular was thrilled!

I'm still worried that they'll have got all the colours wrong and that a bright blue Jon Pertwee will be assisted by a burnt orange Nicholas Courtney in facing off against a vermillion Roger Delgado. Would be kind of awesome...

It may end up looking like the Spanish TV spoofs which used to feature in The Fast Show...

Yes, but what about the colourisation on The Mind Of Evil?

Pertwee is looking very shocked... probably because he's seen what looks like an enormous phallic symbol looming over Jo Grant!

Jo looks like she's struggling to do the Tragedy dance routine.

Bad cover. The Master is looking away, thus divorcing him thematically from everything else in the image. The emphasis should be on the Keller Machine, but its faint to the point of being invisible; instead the element at the forefront, weirdly, is Jo, leaving the main item someone squirming in fear against something completely unseen. Finally, on a release which perhaps has more reason than most to emphasise colour, the whole thing has been doused in a light sheen, making it the opposite of striking. A very poor effort artistically this one.

I actually think this is one cover which will be improved by the dreaded block of grey roundels - this version is drowning in that awful void of pink pastel!

So, do you think the roundels have improved the artwork after all, Si? Personally, I think it's a pretty poor cover.

I've forgot, is this the one where The Master is listening to King Crimson's second album on a radio?

The track 'The Devil's Triangle', in fact. Should have known The Master was a prog fan.
