There are many, many fan made title sequences on you tube, but very few as wonderful as this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73DdgVZ9AcU&feature=plcp

Wow yes that is good. I miss the Doctor's face on the opening sequence. And the companion got a showing too! Good job they didn't show the companions faces during the first Davison season - the title sequence would be as long as the programme!

I'm going to ask if Essex Libraries can update their phone updates...

"Attention Mrs Voord-Scooti: your copy of Fifty Ways of Gardening Turnips in a Windowbox has arrived at Hatfield Peverill Library. Collect in ten working days or you will be EX-TER-MIN-A-TED!"

Right, this is all a bit complicated, but in short...The highly rated but barely watched US sitcom Community has two characters called Troy and Abed who are obsessed with a British tv show called Inspector Spacetime, which may just about plausibly be a spoof of our beloved Who. And then some fans of Community decided it would be fun to make a real Inspector Spacetime episode, and so started a Kickstarter campaign to do so, and 643 people gave them money (somewhat crazily!) and they went and made the episode. Except due to legal issues, they're not allowed to call it Inspector Spacetime, so it's called "Untitled Web Series..." Season 1, Part 1 instead. Erm, yeah, quite, but basically it's an affectionate Who spoof, and is worth watching...

Some rather nice replacement CGI for The Dalek InVasion of Earth...

I can't remember why one episode of that story is in mint condition. They don't have the videotape do they.

Actually we were talking on the other thread about re-issues, and new CG effects is something they were into about 5 years ago and they seemed to lose interest. But if people on Youtube can do them, this is certainly something that would justify me buying some of them again. Not even adding laser bolts to the Sensorites or anything, just using CG to fix imperfections, perhaps buffing up slightly things like the crappy model work in "The Keys of Marinus" by rendering them in CG... as an option of course.

There's a Doctor Who prize up for grabs in "Switcheroo" on The Price Is Right. But it isn't even referenced ......
