That Robert Holmes interview is fascinating isn't it - not just for how young and nervous and smartly-dressed Gary Russell is, but it's also interesting to see Holmes 'in the flesh' as it were. He could easily have been a bit lofty and patronising but he was very polite, even against some maybe rather shallow questions. Nice little video, and I guess it's nice that he was around long enough to begin to get a sense of how 'important' or 'valued' his work was to people. Shame it wasn't a longer interview!

    It was indeed, circa 1981/2!

How many errors can you spot with this video?

(I don't know how you make the clip appear in a small screen here).

    In case you missed it,
Mock The Week, the Satiricial BBC Two comedy show, featured a round on Unlikely things to hear on Doctor Who
Starring in the hilarity are host Dara O Briain, Chris Addison, Hugh Dennis, Andy Parsons, Milton Jones, Josh Widdicombe and Katherine Ryan.

Please note this is a late night show, so some content may not be suitable for all audiences (or at work )

Technically not a youtube video but still pretty cool... (oh and the Doctor Puppet videos that get a plug are worth checking out too!)

This is the best Doctor Who intro we'll never have:

That was actually really good. It's amazing how professional a lot of these fan made bits are.

Although the Funeral services advert at the bottom of it was quite unnerving for Doctor Who, does the person who made this know something?

Are these fan made Peter Capaldi credits as good as the real thing - or perhaps better?

Yes, but is it as good as this fan-made video for the intro to the Peter Capaldi stories?

Really weird having all three playing at one. Or about 10 sec's apart.

The fan in me absolutely loves that, it is different to what's gone before and VERY well done, but there is a little sensible voice in my head that keeps muttering "too fanwanky", I wish it'd shut the hell up!

Thanks to the latest DWM, I've been watching these 3 minute "Doctor Puppet" videos on YouTube. Has anyone else seen them? They're just sooo cute and very professionally produced. Here's the first one to start you off

Episode 4 is out in November!
