Default The Space Museum / The Chase: Out Now!

    It's coming...

I'm rather looking forward to getting these episodes on DVD... well, seven of them anyway.

I quite like Space Museum for all its faults. It has one of the best opening episodes to a story that the show ever produced, and although the rest doesn't match up to it, it's nowhere near as bad as its reputation. The Chase on the other hand is a bit of a duffer...at least it has the Daleks though.

well on the few occasions i've watched the space museum i've never had a problem with it as for the chase ok the first couple of episodes are at time painfully slow and dull but after that it becomes quite a fun and enjoyable story.

It's fun yes, but it's possibly the most ineptly made story there has ever been.

On a par with The Web Planet for ineptness, I'd say. At least in The Chase the regulars look like they're actually enjoying themselves.

well the chase. dose have a few hic ups in it like being clearly able to see a Dalek in frankenstines lab before the dalek ime machine had even arrived and i'm sure there are quite a few others.

BBC Cameras in the jungle are another. A Hartnell double that looks remarkably unlike Hartnell is another.

is this definetly confirmed as being released in March, I only ask because of all the confirmed releases in DWM this is the only one that Amazon dose not have listed for pre-order. Myths and Ledgends which is released after is up for pre-order so it's curious as to why this one isn't.

Obviously the RRP price. Most people won't be paying that.

When's this out? 1st March seems unlikely as we have Peladon on 18th January, Underworld, Nimon and Time Monster on 1st February and Masque on the 8th February!

Never before will we have watched so much poor Doctor Who in so short a space of time!

I love the Chase, but probably for all the wrong reasons (the moron Dalek and terrible double of the Doctor for two).
