    Superb!

(Though honestly, who lumbered the poor old Brig with all those names in the first place?! It's like a list of possible names for the character!)

You can tell it's serious, they've only got one exclamation mark.

Actually there are two, so it's not as serious as all that!

    Splendid cover.

Looked through it again to see where the second one was... and it was staring me in the face!

This is an excellent Sunday read. Has anyone bought the Sarah Jane Companion? Is it mainly about the spin off or does it also have stuff about her Doctor Who stories?

I'm only about a third of the way through this months issue and it's been lovely reading all the warm and heartfelt tributes to Nick, when I look back now to those many years I lived in Crouch End with Nick, on the same road as me just a few doors down I have a ting of regret that I never said hello to him when I had the chance.

It's entirely about the spin-off series, and essentially comprises a series of Andrew Pixley "Archives" features on the minutiae of the making of each particular Sarah Jane Adventure.

Ok thanks, hopefully Elizabeth Sladen should get a special issue like DWM#435. How morbid... I only collect the obituary issues....

It's a fabulous issue and a worthy tribute to a much loved actor/ character. One of the best for many a year.

I dare say she will. I would imagine, like Nick's, that we'll see it in a few months, to allow for the best quality tribute.

It was well worth the wait. DWM got it absolutely spot-on with this issue!

You realise this is #437, and the Nick Courtney special was #436 (which caused me awful confusion when I ordered it online).

I don't think that Doctor Who Magazine should cover Torchwood any more. The tone, style and universes of the two shows have diverged too far!

Considering the original brief was minimal coverage, it's surprising it's got onto the cover.

Mine arrived today - nice to see a PS member called Curnow making the letters page ......

Oddly, for once I was less than impressed with the comic strip - the artwork has degenrated so far you can't recognise anyone, but even the plot was disappointing.

Is this going to be the only time the British National Party buy the mag?

    Not the only time!

    Uh...

Anyway, I make that ten exclamation marks and a heretofore unused font on the cover of DWM. Rah.

I may be a prude, but I'm getting a bit annoyed with some of the language they're letting through in the magazine. One interviewee refers to Moffatt as being "p***ed off" with something- but there are no asterisks in the mag.

I realise that we now have Doctor Who Adventures for the kids- but surely children read DWM too?

    Blame the editor?

I enjoyed the piece on Day of The Daleks, though I think that perhaps both Mark Ayres and Nick Briggs were too keen to say 'Moogerfooger' repeatedly.

I was excited about The Fact of Fiction on Turn Left, but it was really disappointing, it mostly listed the stories that were referred to.

Despite being HUGE and EPIC and BRINGING TOGETHER THREADS FROM A DOZEN ISSUES, the comic strip continues to be a chore to read. What's wrong with it?

I really liked the page layout and artwork for this month's Time Team. Didn't read the article though.

Highlight of the mag is still the spoof song titles in 'Wotcha!' I reckon.

I thought it was going a bit far when they referred to Carole Ann-Ford as a "f**king b*tch wh*re from hell" last month.
