Hello Night Owls... couldn't sleep, was about to post a large and rather personal post about missing you know who, but I bottled it and deleted it. I felt a bit silly typing so much about someone who doesn't want to even know me anymore, and I answered most of my questions whilst typing it, so the post was a bit superfluous anyway. Just hope she's safe and happy. Time to move on, Phillip.

And time for bed, too.

Sadly, in my case, I think it was a case of meeting the right person, but it was (for both of us) the wrong time. I hope one day in the future I'll meet her again and she'll see that I'll have grown up into a much happier, content and improved person. And maybe then we can be friends again, cause that's the one thing above everything else I miss. Anyway, I have to forget the past and concentrate on the future.

The problem is, you can't go back, because the weight of history is always against you. You'll find someone new and lovely at some point Pip, and keeping moving forward.

I've been in that place myself before, & difficult as it is as times, IMHO, you shouldn't make her part of your focus for future wishes. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice, idealistic thought, but one day, when you've met someone else, someone who's right for you, none of this will matter to you anymore, anyway.
It'll all come good in the end for you. You'll see.

It's hard to do, I know, I was in a situation very much like yours (I was 19) & it seems all you can think of is the one you lost, but time heals & though it may not seem like it now, you will be able to move on.
