I've just had it off with John Smith and the Common Men. All of them. And they were common as muck.

Were they as good as Chris Waites and the Carollers?

Nowhere near as good... it would take Terrance Dicks to confuse the two.

One day during some lifetime or other, i'm gonna sit drinking 'till the early hours discussing the meaning of life with Dave Lewis.

We've got more in common than he thinks.

I'm off to bed with Captain Scarlet. He's indestructible, you know.

It started well with the first post, went downhill with the second, and hit rock bottom with the third.

This one is a bit of an improvement, but not much.

If you replace the word "post" with the word "season" you could be describing the Pertwee era!

My apologies for not posting this in the correct time slot, but I'm not online weekdays then!

Jonno is a fake night owl. He has no wings, he has no talons. He is a lie to this very thread.

I demand Milky Tears for head fanboy.

Jonno is the original Night Owl - he created the original thread

He's now defected, he's Up With The Larks these days.

Is this thread dead? Are we all day people? Is it not dark enough? Where have the night owls gone?

Raston has destroyed The Night Owls Thread with his playful tawny banter.

I could say I'm quite rock n' roll for going out at midnight, but I'm already back and it was a really bad idea. Everyone was already drunk. It's a long story but some friends from Leeds (originally from Bolton) ws back and we did a quick spontaneous thing.....they'd bumpe dinto our mutual friend and I joined late, but it was no good for me really. I wanted a night in and should have stuck to my guns. I went out last night too, and I get my silly anxiety bollocks when I go out like this and my body is tired and in need of looking after.

But going out at midnight! It must be worth a bit of an iresponsible

We both have immense phalluses that strike the fear of almighty God into women, men, animals, Prince Philip, and ourselves. I keep mine in a soap dish in the medicine cupboard because it's so awe-inspiringly massive. I daren't take it out to the pub because it gets loose and petrifies the other drinkers.

As I'm getting used to going out at dodgy hours, I can do my late night striptease while you two talk. Just a fantasy I have- not like it's ever going to happen!

I've decided it'd interfere too much with your conversation.
