    Default Wii Question

    I would like to get a microphone for a Wii for Christmas. I don't own the Wii myself, it's for someone else, so I don't know what will fit it.

    Can I use any microphone? Or can I use any USB microphone? What kind of mic does the Wii take?

    I'm not sure if any old usb microphone will work, but you can buy ones that are designed for the console.

    I am now the proud owner of an M&S wii microphone (but not for long, it's a gift).

    Thanks Duncan, you saved me about £35! The only way I could see to get one was as part of a game and they're expensive.

    I thought there was a microphone integrated into the controller.

    The Nintendo DS has the microphone built in. The Wii controller has a speaker in it, but no mic.
