    Default Animals!

In honour of Ralph The Giant Rabbit (as pointed out by Emma on Facebook) I'm starting a thread for pictures of amazing animals!

Ella McDonnell, 10, with the Ralph the rabbit, which is believed to be the world's largest bunny
Look at the size of that thing! I bet it's got a heck of a kick on it. They say Bunnies should be picked up frequently if you want to get them used to human contact. Looks like this bunny will soon be picking people up!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

It's as though there's someone else who gets to all the vegetables house before she can.

I don't like where her left hand is - no wonder that bunny looks uncomfortable.

This picture was doing the rounds a few years ago ...

I would absolutely love to breed a herd of these mega-bunnies and set them loose on Portland, the island I used to live on where they're terrified of bunnies (even the R-word is banned) ... it's all rather Monty Python to outsiders.

I have images of these beasties causing mass hysteria, and old dears collapsing from heart attacks.

An urgent plea for decorum and self-restraint now ... please can people avoid turning this into a thread of those truely nauseating cutesy cat pictures with slogans like "I baked u a cookie but ize eated it"!

Did anybody else see Paul Merton's programme the other week? Apparently giant rabbits were bred quite widely in East Germany, partly for the pot and partly for competition.

There's a fine line between Lolcat Grammar and gibberish.

    From 'Awwwwww' to 'AAAAHHHHHH!!!!'

    It's a big crab!

‘Crabzilla’ has a body the size of a basketball and measures 3m (10ft) from claw to claw – big enough to straddle a car.

The Japanese spider crab was caught in the Pacific and will be on display at Birmingham’s National Sea Life centre until the end of March when it will start a new life in Belgium.

‘He dwarfs the other crabs – but he’s not aggressive so they’ve nothing to worry about,’ said Sea Life’s Graham Burrows.
Belgium, eh? Wasn't there a Tintin adventure where he was up against a golden crab?

Ugh, it's absolutely hideous. Imagine being leered at by that creepy monster.

The crab is quite ferocious too.

Actually it was just a drug smuggling ring whose mascot was a crab's claws.

    Made of gold.

It was still pretty good though. There was a plane crash at one point, as I recall.

I think that crab swallowed a segment of The Key To Time.

    Si xx

That big bunny is scarey - a rabbit that size would have no natural predators surely. Bun-zilla!
