Lost Boys actor dies ...

Just heard this morning that one of the Lost Boys actors has died this morning of a suspected accidental overdose.

The radio said Corey Feldman, the internet Corey Haim.

The Lost Boys was one of the most iconic films of the 80s. Although a lot of the young actors in it were never noticable in any film since.

Tis very sad news. From the reports I've read, he was introduced to hard drugs due to the film industry at a very early age, and never really got over his addictions. Whether it was illegal or prescription drugs. But recently it appeared that he'd recovered, and was apparently due to star in two films this year, so it's a tragedy that he seemingly relapsed.

That's very sad. My sister was a huge fan of his (she was exactly the right age to idolise him in the late 80s) and so we spent a lot of time watching his films when we were teenagers. The Lost Boys is still a bit of a classic isn't it?

It was pretty much THE Goth film ... until the Crow stole it's mantle.

It's a wierd film looking back, cos it was the first movie to make out that being a Vampire might be kind of cool. So in a way it's to blame for Twilight.
