Given the part that John Challis is now famous for, i can't help thinking of Scorby's death scene without adding the line "That's the last time I buy pond plants from Derek Trotter!"

I'm not usually that fussed about commentaries, but I'd always hoped that John Challis would do this one! Add in my favourite Doctor and producer and it's looking pretty good!

Ooh, there's a welcome surprise! Mind you, as I'm planning to make this my first pre-order since War Games, I'd better get on with the Trial and fit that in first...

You're not seriously going to get around to watching Trial, are you Jonno?
I'm looking forward to this one! In fact, I might even be keen on watching it again without the commentary. I could play all day in my green cathedral!Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Did we ever find out why La Sladen doesn't do commentaries any more?
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?
If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

I must say, after a rather lacklustre year of releases thus far I'm REALLY looking forward to getting SOD next month - an all time classic in my humble opinion and there's the added bonus of having Tom on the commentary track too
