    Marillion- Waterhole (expresso bongo)

From 'Misplaced Childhood' is it the greatest concept album of all time? Very probably! Prog at its very best.

    "Witness" - Show of Hands.

Show of Hands are cool - they're an acoustic folk duo with really good songs, often with a point or two to make. This new(ish) album is a much more lavish affair than the stripped down ones previously, and it sounds really good - especially on the ridiculously catchy song "Roots".

I've been listening to the brilliant Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space by Spiritualized.
I've forgotten how good it is especially the heart wrenching Broken Heart.

Ooo - SPIRITUALIZED!!! It's a forgotten masterpiece, that album.

I'm listening to Elton John, a few from his best of including Benny and The Jets, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and - of course! - Circle of Life. There's more to know than can ever be ... wait a minute?

I'm feeling quite upp-ish this morning so i'm doing a bit of classic Motorhead. Currently on 'Love Me Like a Reptile'. (Great song title!)

Well, Janet's 'Let's Wait Awhile' has just finished and now Stone Sour's 'Sillyworld' has just begun. But soon I shall be listening to my new CDs.

Dave Auld and Tall Paul - Common Group. Quite a poppy little ditty about right for this time on a Saturday afternoon.

Time to open the first bottle of wine!

    Oasis - 'Be Here Now'.

When I first got this, I thought it was fantastic, and listened to it almost non-stop. I haven't heard it for a few years, and now I realise that's it's not really a great album at all.

I now have the original version of "Phantom of the Opera" playing while I sort of my washing. I blame my nephew, Mike, for getting me into this. Nasty man!
