Default Kismet Delgado any relation to Roger.

Just watched Planet of the Spiders, and noticed a Kismet Delgado listed in the credits as one of the spider voives and was just wondering if she is related to Roger.

Yes she was his wife. they gave her the job because she'd been left without much money after Roger's tragic death.

She later married the bloke he played Lester in Revenge of the Cybermen, William Marlowe.

He was also cousin of Anne Reid from "The Curse of Fenric" and used to have casual sex with Harry Towb at weekends.

    That's a fan myth, Si.

You're a harbinger of false rumours this week young man. Manning left of her own accord because she felt down about Delgado leaving. Rascal!

The tale I heard was that Kismet forced Manning to leave the show when she found out about her affair with Jon Pertwee, and threatened to tell his wife.

    Whether it's true, who knows.

I believe she porked Pertwee, but no way do I believe Kismet rose up like the Great One from behind the Wholeweal prop and dealt her an infidelity ultimatum. The reasons she gave for going were perfectly logical anyway!

And ANYWAY, wasn't she dating Stewart Bevan at the time she left? I reckon if she ever tasted Pert, it would have been during Season 8. Just watch "The Time Monster" and tell me they arn't doin' it.

Nope. She married Raynor Burton in 1975 though, but that marriage lasted only two months. She gave birth to twins in 1978 with Dean Harris.

Which means she didn't get going for half an hour, assuming she got going at all, and still didn't arrive for at least another hour after she was expected to.
