    http://www.sfx.co.uk/2010/07/08/dale...novel-preview/

The BBC kicks off it's graphic novel range with 'The Only Good Dalek'. Art by Mike Collins. It's out on 16 September and will cost you £16.99.

As you can see, it stars the 10th Doctor, Martha Jones and Barbie.

Default Only Good dalek Price discrepancy

I saw this on sale in my local HMV store today. The thing is this....... on the front cover the store had a price sticker of £14 yet on looking inside the given RRP is £12.99!!! How can HMV justify this?? They had several copies too all with the £14 price tag. I've heard of stores reducing the price from the RRP but never increasing it. Also odd to note that apparently the original RRP was going to be £16.99 accoring to the post above - Yet the inside cover of the sleeve definately said £12.99
Needless to say I left it on the shelf. As an aside I thought the artwork looked a bit rushed and sloppy to be honest

How bizarre. It's not unlike HMV to mark stuff up, but Graphic Novels aren't really their core sellers, so why would they?

    Or maybe it's the recession.

From Page 1 it looks like it's goodbye for the USS Defiant.

I read this in my lunch hour today. it was... disappointing. Mike Collins isn't the greatest DW comic strip artist ever (I've never liked his stuff very much) and the art seemed hurried and scratchy in too many places.

The story was OK, but it was all rather depressing and grim. It's a shame as there were a few ideas of merit in it, but they felt buried beneath all the other stuff. Shame.
