I know there's some scheduled maintenance going on yesterday & today, so that may well be the reason - but I'm finding that none of the 'buttons' above the message input box are working this morning. I'm referring to the 'Quote' and 'Spoiler' buttons, etc.

Has there been a time limit instated on how long we have to edit or own posts? I was just going to edit one where the link is broken but apparently I cant?

I just went into the caption comp thread and got a strange box coming up asking me to
Enter username and password for http://www.cvmbs.colostate.edu
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Yes.
In Jeff's post - http://www.planetskaro.org.uk/forums...145#post308145 - , he linked to a dairy cow image that was hosted on www.cvmbs.colostate.edu
However now that webserver is asking for a username and password in order to display the image .
I've edited Jeff's post removing the image and everything should be back to normal now.Assume you're going to Win

Not a problem, but an oddity for me when I access PS at home on my Kindle Fire. Since the clocks went back, I've noticed that the timings of posts on PS are on GMT+1 so for example last night after 11pm a new post made says it was made "Yesterday at 11.23pm" for example which is initially confusing!
It's certainly not the timing general setting on my Kindle which has adjusted to GMT.
Most odd - just wondered if anyone might have any ideas? I think there's one or two other Kindle users out there?

I did see something odd last night (I think) when using TapaTalk.
One of the posts had the date 1970.
At the time I wasn't too wide awake; I put it down to an oddity and didn't pay any more attention to it until your post, Jonno
I've double checked the time settings on the server, forum and both yours and my accounts; everything appears to be in order.
I'll keep an eye on it; and please report any further odditiesAssume you're going to Win

I don't suppose you can work miracles Phil, and get voting buttons to appear in the Tapatalk version?? Well I thought I'd ask :-)

Regards my GMT (+1) thing, I perhaps should point out I don't use Tapatalk, I just access PS through the browser (Silk).

Not a problem, but a question, and I wasn't sure where to ask.....
Can user names be changed?
I was thinking of going back to 'Wayne', that's all. No big deal though if it can't be done.

My Kindle's gone back to normal GMT setting, so all is good and well - probably just a gremlin!

Since changing to the new server, my tapatalk keeps trying to log in but fails. I then get an email to say I'vw had a failed login attempt and can't access for 15 minutes.

Hi Paul,
Tapatalk's working fine for me.
Here's a couple of things to try:
1. Change your password on a computer - and then try the new password on your phone.
or
2. You don't say what phone you use. Could you restart your phone and delete any cache and/or data the Tapatalk has stored on your phone. That should clear whatever is stopping Tapatalk from working.Assume you're going to Win

I experienced a similar issue with Tapatalk around the same time as Paul last night but I've just managed to use it fine without even having to log back in so it may have been an app fault that has self-rectified.
