I meant to post earlier to say thanks for the heads up, Si - I watched this Friday night (am I the only one?). Karen always seems a bit giggly-nervous when appearing as herself, but Matt just seems to laidback and, well, cool. Plus I must admit I was curious to see how Chris Evans got on hosting.

A forthcoming episode of the popular BBC quiz show, Eggheads, will feature a Doctor Who celebrity team.

The team, which will consist of Colin Baker (The 6th Doctor), Frazer Hines (Jamie), Louise Jameson (Leela), Katy Manning (Jo) and John Leeson (Voice of K9), will battle against the Eggheads to win a sum of money for charity.

The episode, which was recorded in the Summer, will air on BBC Two, on Monday 20th December at 6:00pm.

I bet Colin Baker could probably be one of the eggheads if he wanted to.

Tonight sees the announcement of the winners at the 2011 National Television Awards, where Doctor Who features in two categories:

    Best Drama - Doctor Who

Best Drama Performance - Matt Smith, Karen Gillan

Regardless of the outcome, however, Doctor Who fans will be treated to a short Doctor Who themed sketch, in which Matt Smith and Dermot O'Leary travel in the TARDIS to the EastEnders and Coronation Street sets.

Couple of SJA thinsg that you should be able to catch up with on the i-player:

Sam Watts just on The One Show yesterday about the Devil's Interval and scoring SJA.

Episode 3 of CBBC's Hacker Time was a SJA special, which included some outtakes from series 2 and 3 that I've never seen anywhere else. They also broadcast the DW s5 outtakes.

Right, I know this is supposed to be for TV appearances, but for those who like crime fiction and who can get Radio 4Extra, young Mr. Darvill will be starting to read The Adventures Of Max Carados from this coming Monday, at 1.30pm and 830pm.

    Coming to BBC4:
Mark Lawson Talks To... Mark Gatiss
    Tue 3 Apr
Mark Lawson talks to writer, actor and comedian Mark Gatiss about his life and career.
Interesting that Mark Gatiss is now a big enough name for Mark Lawson to interview- Or am I being over the top?
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

****! ****! ****! I wanted to see that and forgot it was on last night. It would have been an interesting one to record otherwise I'd have just looked it up on iplayer and said no more about it.
