"The World of Tim Frazer" by Francis Durbridge. Narrated by Anthony Head so vocal quality is assured! It's virtually Paul Temple but with slightly different characters. But the stories are still great, with enough hooks and Whodunnits to keep you on your toes. This one involves Tim's missing business partner and a Russian shipwreck.

I'm enjoying the CDs I've bought this year this weekend.

    Futurology- Manic Street Preachers
    Donker Mag- Die Antwoord
    American Interior- Gruff Rhys
    Mastermind- Rick Ross.

Looking forward to new Pink Floyd and Queen albums later this year.

American Interior might not be Gruff's best album, but the concept of tracing the lost tribe of Welshmen across America is rather cool and actually made sense after we saw him live. Will get the book and maybe see the film one day.

Futurology I've not dipped into yet, even though I'm a Spotify-addict! I'm uppity about it because I bought Rewind The Film and found it disappointing.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Well Futurology isn't the big rock out record (Although parts of it come close) a lot of people were expecting. But the second half of it contains some beautiful synth pieces.

And I'm interested in seeing the film of American Interior as well!

EDIT: "Divine Youth" contains synths, mixed low in the mix that remind of Keff McCullough when he tried to convey grandiose. And of course I mean that in a good way!

That song, along with Bonnie Tyler's Holding Out For A Hero, is a perfect fit for NFL highlights, isn't it?
