Nice review. We've not got it, but I've heard bits of it and quite liked it. I suppose it helps that these are her two albums that I know least well overall, and so I won't have the problem of familiarity with the originals to the same degree of some. I suspect I'll give it a buy sometime soon.

Thanks. Listening to it 'on it's own', it's a good album I think. I just really don't get the point of it. Rubberband Girl is terrible though.

Today I'm listening to "Hair", the fab third new single from Lady Gaga in just about as many weeks. I'm as free as my hair!

Lady Gaga was on the cover of today's Metro, advertising her 'Born This Way' album. Apparently she dropped out of the front of a motorcycle, which is nice for her.

This morning I had Doves and 10CC on the MP3 player. Not quite sure about 10CC. They're quite good fun, but do they go any deeper than a novelty act?

I'm currently loving the first EP from Artmagic, a collaboration between Richard Oakes of Suede and Sean McGhee, a friend of mine from uni. Beautiful music. More info here: http://www.facebook.com/artmagic

Born This Way Deluxe Edition, fantastic album not really a "bad track" on it which I prefer to Gaga's previous albums, which felt like they had a lot of filler material;this one has repeated listening value!

Pat, Lisa and I have been singing along to 60s hits this morning as we pop the books back on the shelves in Birch Hill Library. Fab!

I made the mistake of not buying it at Chichester, so have to wait a few weeks now. Doh!

Ahh yes, but you can order it and get the pound off with the code in the programme though!

REM's Reveal. 10 years old but still the perfect soundtrack for long, warm summer nights.

Lots of Deep Purple! (Mk III and Mk IV - the best eras of the band!)

Oh you bought that! Only about seven people have joined you! I'm thinking of buying it at the weekend. Is it any good?

I got it for my birthday. I rather like it. It's not quite as upbeatly poppy as their other albums but there's something about it I quite like. The two singles have been excellent.

Ain't no Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrel. There are very few more joyful songs than this one. It's making me smile!
