Art: the wierd and the wonderful ...
As I've mentioned somewhere I don't really like modern art, but I do like art.
The episode Vincent and the Doctor really reminded me how as a child I really was very much into art - loving to draw, and knowing probably more than I do today about the lives of painters.

So anyway a thread to throw up art that you like ...Remember, just because Davros is dead doesn't mean the Dalek menace has been contained ......

This is something by a NZ artist - it's currently for sale at a local gallery, which means I walk by it every day, and have come to absolutely love this picture. Alas my wife hates it, and besides it's more than we can really spend on a picture.
But I'd love to own it.
I don't know what it is about this one picture. It's by an artist called Martin Welch, and whereas I like his other stuff, this is one I really like. Possibly helps she looks a bit like a girl called Julia I used to fancy like crazy.
It's called "We Bleed Together" ...
By sure good luck we caught a art program last night with the artist, Martin Welch, who was doing a portrait of Lucy Lawless on the program. Interesting ...
