My head feels like it's been put on wonkily this morning! Bah!
How are you all this morning?
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I'm not bad Si! We had a works night out at a curry house last night. We have an Indian guy in the office whose religion forbids him from drinking, so he never usually comes out with us. However, last night we arranged to go to an Indian Restaurant which didn't serve alcohol so he could come along.
Anyway, needless to say not only did we spend an hour in the pub beforehand, but the boss let us visit the Off License and we ferried tons of wine and beer up to the restaurant table. Everyone got very merry, and we had a fabulous evening. Unfortunately my train ground to a half outside London due to a fatality and I didn't get in til 2am! Four hours before I had to get up for work again.
Still, I'm feeling very perky this morning (as I always do) and I beat all the people who actually live in London into work. Two people haven't made it at all and are throwing up at home! Lightweights!
Si.

Oh dear- sounds like a classic post work night out! Glad you're not feeling the ill effects though- I don't think I'd manage that on a work night these days- I'm such a lightweight!

Good morning!
Yesterday we had a 'BOOM' at work and all the electricity went out. Then the fire alarm went off! Right now they're replacing a busbar and getting the electricity back on line, but it won't be ready till at least 3pm.
So I'm working at home. To an extent. Bit difficult without the office servers though, which are also down.Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Hmm, sounds like it must have been something pretty major that went wrong then, doesn't it? Ah well, another day at home- even with the laptop is a bonus. Maybe you can get your bills paid today then?

Ah yes my bills!
I'll have to do them tomorrow morning - the logic is that their customer service dept is on the way to the office, but they close at two and the office doesn't open untill three. I don't want a double trip, so I'll go first thing tomorrow.
I have managed to get the photos of the water and electricity meters though!Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!
