None of us will be able to agree on the contents afterwards - if indeed any of us remember watching it at all...

So will it be lots of people saying that they remember the Dalek attack on Styles' house at the end having hundreds of Daleks, but now they see it again they realise it was only three?
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Maybe it's a combination of the old 'memory cheats' debate along with the generation of fans (ie, us!) who read the Target books first and then got to see the TV versions - Day of the Daleks is more often than not the example people give of the story which they found (initially) disappointing after the book had given great expectations.

Conversely, I actually have rose tinted memories of the TV version, since it was one of the first video releases.

I never got round to getting Day of the Daleks on VHS. It was one of those ones that slipped through the net. My best friend at school had it, so I could borrow it any time I wanted, so I never bothered getting it.

Possibly the best cover in the entire range so far!

Can't help but think it won't look as good in our template though.

Very different style to most of the covers - very good, although that Ogron in the background is a rotten shot, he's way off!!

I don't like it! It's too busy. I like the cut and paste video cover much more.

If only they'd based it on the Japanese novel...

The Ogron looks a bit like a Vogon though...

I'm glad to see a Now and Then feature on this release.

Years ago, Andrew Clancy and I visted the canal tunnel location in West London, and tried unsuccessfully to find Auderly House. I've since discovered that it was filmed at Dropmore Park near Marlow, but it's been redeveloped into luxury flats and when I last visited the general public weren't allowed access.

So it'll be good to see it in all it's glory!

I didn't mean inside the flats, just in the grounds/complex...

I demand to trample through their bedrooms to find the exact spot where Scott Frederickson broke into Auderly House.

And then, Ian, you're going to have the exact spot and a couple of Fray Bentos...

Finally - we've been waiting 5 years for this!

Overall, it's looking a very strong release indeed.
