what was great about that is you had two former companions each with their own memories of the Doctor becoming instant friends and non of that nausiating jealousy you got with Rose, every time the Doctor, so much as even mentioned he talked to a girl.

Oh, and I forgot to say, at one point I thought the resolution was going to be that Sarah Jane & Jo had never actually seen the Tardis key, it being a new series invention to give one (ooerr) to the companion. I should have guessed we'd get another TLotTL magic mumbo jumbo!
I thought something along those lines, that the resolution would be Jo remembering Pertwee's ankh-shaped key, while Sarah remembered the more traditional yale key - so that the resulting mishmash of the two was no good at all for the Shanseeth.

    LUVVIE ALARM

Can I just say having met Katy Manning more than once it was really nice seeing her 'act' completely as her ditzy self.

The plot was terrible but the Doctor, SJ and Jo were amazing. The problem was that the plot was thrown together to support the story of a reunion.

    Oh.

I've just watched this again for the first time in years, and well, sob.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

    Tears before bedtime? Oh dear.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I'm just posting randomly here as I've no wish to continually see a thread/post summary of "Death of... Rob McCow"!
