I am currently on the roof and will not come down until reassured that I can have at least one other completely unrealated story released in a box with The Sunmakers instead.

The Sunmakers and The Tenth Planet would be more solar-sysetmatic.
When we were selling our excess Doctor Who VHS's, we'd often pair a 'cheap' one with a rare one, just to get rid of it. Worked a treat! Obviously 2|Entertain are onto the same deal. If they'd have realised earlier, we could have had Genesis of The Daleks / The Android Invasion, Inferno / Timelash and Vengeance on Varos / The Time Meddler. Makes good sense when you think about it, no?Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Sunmakers and Tenth Planet could be a "Planets in the Solar System that aren't actually planets in the Solar System" boxed set. The spine would be massive.
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?
If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

Something about Jupiter being in Uranus. I feel too sick to work out the finer details of the joke.

Maybe the delay is down to them having to make a DVD extra (or VAM as Dan Hall calls it) about the restoration process of the missing tweet? They could remake the tweet using screenshots of each individual letter press?

Maybe they need to reverse-standards convert the tweet from 525 characters to 140?

When do the DVD's finish? I thought it was 2012, or is it maybe 2013.
But the fact it could be delayed by another year ("at least" 2012) suggests something major has happened to change the goal posts. Maybe they've found a way of drastically improving it?
They can delay it five years as far as I'm concerned - I'm in no hurry and I'd rather have it as good as it can be.
It is odd, though, that "Terror" is out in just a few months. No-one keen to wait and make the restoration job on THAT any better?

Remember that Terror has a good set of off-air colour broadcasts to use for the restoration as well as the B&W film prints, wheras Ambassadors only has the dodgy rainbow patterned ones as reference, hence them presumably having to go down the chroma-dot route for the full restoration.
In that respect Terror is far easier and quicker to restore, and probably to a better standard than Ambassadors will ever be as a whole.
