    Time And The Rani.
Better story than I'd remembered. Wonderful extras. Was pretty close to picking another one from the last three in the poll.

I don't think it's been a year of classic releases, but there have been a couple of releases that have stood out ahead of the others.

For me, the best release of the year was The Space Museum/ The Chase. Great features on both releases- especially the colour footage from Sahwcraft which was just astonishing to see.
Seeds of Doom is a close second, which again had a great range of extras.

Best extra of the year was the one on Revenge of the Cybermen about the pirate video stuff. Very nostalgic!

Is that all the releases this year?!?!?! That's 16 stories!

Some of them feel like they've been out for ages, especially the 'Myths and Legends' set. All of the releases have been beautifully cleaned up and presented with the usual documentaries. In many ways this should be exciting, but I think we've got too used to it now.

I can't remember a huge amount about the documentaries and commentaries this year, sadly. There are a few things that stand out, such as the comment on The Chase (Inverviewer: 'Is there anything you're proud of?' Director: 'No!'), the wonderful Home Video documentary, the Erato documentary and the superb 'making of' for Seeds of Doom.

They're all of a standard - a very high standard - but it gives little to choose between them!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I agree with Si, that's it's not been a great year but I suppose it's only to be expected as we get closer to having all the stories released and most of the popular stuff is already out. For me it's a toss up between Peladon Tales and Revenge/Silver nemesis both Curse & Revenge are two of my favourite stories so I am delighted they were finally released but just for the extras I'd have to go for Revenge/nemesis as the best release.
