    Default 2011 Coming Soon Trailer!

Wow! Ood! Stetsons are cool! Amy's been drawing on her face! River Song with her norks out! America, looking like America damn it! The Doctor in the Whitehouse! Jammie Dodgers and Fezzes! The Doctor's Beard (surely that's an episode title?)

What else did you spot? Was it exciting? 2011 looks like it's going to be a very dark year indeed!

Watch it again HERE - http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/dw/videos/p00cyvpy
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Have to say it was a darn sight more exciting than the actual Christmas episode itself.
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

I know the emoticon gets used perhaps more than it should, but I actually think that's exactly what my face looked like after seeing this!

It looked to me like they hadn't really finished enough of the Season yet to do an exciting Next Time trailer.

I did like the look of the creepy doll things though. Creepy Doll Things are good.

I liked the Doctor in control of the Oval Office in the Whitehouse. Very cool and funny.

Looked to me like they were all clips from the first two-part story, rather than from across the next season - either way, I rather enjoyed it. I'm still worried by the notion that next year is going to be very arc-heavy (which Moffat's latest Production Notes would seem to confirm) but that aside, I'm looking forward to 2011's Who a great deal!

The Doctor with a berad is intriguing. This has got to tbe the first time we've seen a doctor onscreen with a beard hasn't it? I'm intrigued by this.

Oh and Nazis. I hate those guys!

Is this the first evidence that the Doctor grows facial hair apart from "Time Crash"?

Do sideburns count? Both Tom & Tennant seemed to have them looking quite large during certain stories?

The Doctor has arm hair obviously, as a scan of Pertwee's naked body in "Spearhead from Space" reveals. But, unlike in humans, the facial follicles might only have gone down as far as ear-level for all we knew.

    UNTIL NOW.

Of course, the question of whether the Doctor has hair around his "southern" region remains tantalisingly dangling, much like those nether regions.

Thanks to The Lodger, aren't the Doctor's genitalia officially and canonically an indistinct blur?
For every fail, there is an equal and opposite win.

And since the Master and Borusa have had facial hair, it's always been theoretically possible for him to do so.

What happens in Time Crash that is follicle-related?

Troughton also had massive sideburns on occasion.

The Tenth Doctor says that the Fifth Doctors face is "the same face I shave every day". It's the first time the Doctors confessed to shaving, and it's funny to think of him in the TARDIS every morning covered in foam! Like imagining him on the toilet I suppose... somehow a bit wrong.

Indeed. They grew impressively while he was unconscious during The Seeds of Death....

Gonna be a very packed first couple of episodes then, but I think the men with what looked like paper bags over their heads at the end are from one of the other episodes and also Suranne Jones is in a later one I think.

Looking forward to seeing "more" of River if one of the shots is anything to go by!

Avoiding any other threads for fear of spoilers....

With Easter fast approaching, do we have any idea when the new series will air?
