I was recently lent a copy of Agatha Raisin And The Quiche Of Death, which I thoroughly enjoyed, what other Agatha books are recommended?

What about the Hamish Macbeth series?

I've read nearly all the Agatha Raisin series. They're lightweight and fun and always good to read after a run of heavier books. However I'm not sure I could reccomend any specific titles now, as there's been so many of them, all the plots kind of run into one another.
She's better when she's in the Cotswolds though. The one set elsewhere don't seem quite so good to me.

Have you heard the radio plays with Penelope Keith, Stu? They're very good fun. Penelope Keith is perfectly cast as Agatha.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I've not heard the radio plays but I intend to check them out(hopefully BBC 7 will repeat them) as I'm a big fan of Penelope Keith

I downloaded the radio plays and while a fair bit is cut from the books, they are pacy and enjoyable as it largely comes across that the cast are having great fun performing in them!
