They did! I remember Noel Edmonds had an award made for Peter Davison and when Peter appeared and accepted it... a horse crashed through the set behind him! Leaving Peter looking at the horse like a Vietnam vet having a flashback!
I wouldn't mind seeing that, but it would mean a DVD has Noel Edmonds on it?

I really like The Gunfighters, but The Awakening... not so much.

The Gunfighters cover is very reminiscent of the video cover.

Sir George Hutchinson on The Awakening cover looks like Vincent Price from Witchfinder General.

In that format, yes. Artwork might be used on the R2 release.

Even the most ardent Roundel fetishist must be pretty sick of them by now.

I quite like them, mostly because it adds "a uniform feel" to the whole range, anything out of place wouldn't look right!

That's about as vanilla as they come, these days.

What on earth is 'The End of The Line' about? 43 minutes on how they tried to get rid of Hartnell?

To quote Ed Stradling, who made it...

It covers the period from Verity Lambert's departure at the end of Season 2, through to The Tenth Planet.

    I wouldn't wear a hat like that.

It's taken from somebody who's facing to the left, not dead on to camera. Weird.

They could have at least photoshopped a hat on Davison's head (even if he doesn't wear it in that story) for the sake of symmetry.
