It is, actually... provided you can cope with extended Levinery. Donald Tosh in particular is excellent.

No, but there is a full version of it over the photo gallery. Although if you've already sat through the four episodes, you'll be more than ready to give Lynda Baron a spot of frontier justice...

What has happened to Eric Saward? He seems to be morphing into a Hollyoaks judge-era Colin Baker.

    "Ooo, Eric, it's aged you."
    "What has?"
    "TIME."

To be fair, I don't think Eric has really aged that badly. It's about 25 years since he left the show. He's rounder in the face for sure, but it's that haircut that really makes him look different to how he did in the 80's.

He's turning into Lynda Barron if you ask me.

Maybe if he wasn't such a bitter and miserable old troll, consumed with all his gloom then he wouldn't look so grim.

I'm almost tempted to suggest that he's distantly related to Ray Cusick...

Every man, woman and child in this village is involved in these war games except YOU. WHY?!

Is today's new DVD-based quote to remember forever!

God yes! I mustve heard that about 100 times while checking out the extras. Almost made me want to watch the story to find out who he was referring to, but not quite!

The commentary on The Gunfighters is excellent.

Hooray for Peter Purves! The 'End of The Line' documentary was absolutely superb! It gave an excellent feel for the sweeping changes that happened over the course of the third year and the start of the fourth. There was a shocking appearance of a Rill - a real moment where we had to rewind the DVD and check what we'd just seen was real!

All of the contributors were superb. It makes it seem a real shame that more of Season 3doesn't exist, even though it might not be that great.

Also, I thought the 'Terry Nation's Input Into The Daleks Masterplan' anecdote was somewhat unfinished. I'm sure when he opened the brown envelope containing the scripts that there were only 10 pages of notes! But the story as told seems to stop short of this.

You weren't on your own there, I thought exactly the same.

What is it with the woman who writes the inlay blurb making out the 8th Doctor tried on a Wyatt Earp costume?! He didn't! So her entire little anecdote thing doesn't make sense!

Because I moved out of the village thirteen years ago! Don't you ever pay attention?!

We did the commentary for The Awakening - I suspect Eric Saward's drinks were spiked, because he was actually complimentary about a few things, including Matt Smith as the Doctor.

I spotted that as well. It's particularly annoying since not only did the character whose costume it was state early on that it was Wild Bill Hickock, but there was even an echoey voiceover repeat of the line as the Doctor pulled out the costume....
