My vote had to go to Hollow Men by default. It's not much better than average, b ut Spiral Scratch looks reminiscent of a minty humbug that's been sucked for five minutes and King of Terror, like the novel itself, is just plain awful.

Like you Paul, I've had to vote for Hollow Men because although it's poor the others are awful IMO.

Third vote for Hollow Men, and third vote for the least worst cover as well.

I actually quite like Spiral Scratch. I think I'll give it my vote because it's a fun book and I don't think the cover is that awful. Compared to some it's postively stylish!

The Hollow Men is good though. I won't be upset if it gets through to the next round.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

I agree with Paul - the least-dreadful cover in this round is "The Hollow Men" (although I didn't much enjoy the book).

Although 'The Hollow Men' cover has a good concept, I don't think it's all that well put together. I do like the rather trippy 'Spiral Scratch' cover, though, and so it's got my vote.

However, like Si, I won't mind if the scarecrow wins through.

    Spiral Scratch is awful.

Hollow Men is a poor piece of Photoshop.

So King of Terror for me.

Whatever he's done, he'll have to clean it up!
