    Default Gary Moore RIP

    Reported here

A great shock for a man of his age,and a great shame - IMO one of a handful of the greatest rock and blues guitarists the UK has ever produced.

Off to Spotify to enjoy and reflect....

Sad news - I know my dad will be upset about this too!
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

My dad too. Parisenne Walkway was a huge favourite of his.

    Si xx

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Sad news. I grew up with Moore's music, and saw him play at Glasgow's Barrowlands back in the 90s. An exceptionally talented guitarist, who excelled with the blues.

    RIP Gary.

I first heard about this through Glenn Hughes' Facebook page, as Glenn was a good friend of Gary Moore. Yet another huge loss to the rock world

    RIP Gary Moore.

Not many celebrity deaths leave me actually stunned but this one certainly does. Probably my all time favourite guitarist, I've been priveleged enough to see him live a dozen or more times over a 25 year period, and the knowledge that that is now over is numbing.

Everyone knows Parisienne Walkways of course, but for those yet to hear it I'd like to recommend The Loner at this time.

    Bye dude.
