It's depressing two episodes will take nine more months to complete. At that rate it'll take them about 400 years to do them all!

Wow that is rather impressive. Though weren't all the scenes shown their from surviving episodes? I hope they can get just as good quality when they are making all the animation from scratch.

I can't help but wish they'd not given them two such dull episodes to do. All that talent, why not start with a real cracker like "Power of the Daleks"? I do wonder if, for the second time, a top animation team will be saddled with two lost monster-less episodes to do and the resulting low sales will prevent them getting round to the good stuff!

I'll probably get this one on release. I get stupidly excited about this sort of thing, just like I used to when watching B&W episodes I'd never seen before. I loved The Invasion.

At the moment 2Entertain don't seem to be very interested in Recons. Although I gather that not too long ago an attempt to come to an arrangement with Loose Cannon fell through because a third party got involved.
Considering at one point 2Entertain were saying we would only get DVD releases of all the complete stories I'm quite glad Reign is having its day. I just hope that means The Ice Warriors will follow suit.Last edited by Richard Brinck-Johnsen; 24th Sep 2011 at 3:33 PM. Reason: spelling and grammar mistakes

Well, Dan Hall recently said during an interview that there will definitely be "at least" one more animation, and then "hopefully more"
Given that he's normally very careful over what he says, I would assume that either The Ice Warriors or The Tenth Planet will be getting their missing episodes animated.

It can't be long now until these two episodes are finally ready.
At the moment, DVD producer Chris Chapman is looking for Peter Walker and Ann Earl (http://blogtorwho.blogspot.com/2011/...-you-help.html). Can anyone help him? Also, what happened to Henric Hirsch? Is he still around?

All I can discover offhand is that he hasn't directed since 1973.

Now, who wants to put money on the two missing episodes turning up a year or so after this gets released?
