Default Where were you in 2005?

2005 may only have been 6 years ago, but things have changed a great deal in that time.

Where were you and what were you doing in 2005?

I was working in flexible benefits, posting to PS a lot and watching Doctor Who in my spare time.

    Heady days.

I was in the Lower Sixth at school in Wimbledon, preparing to take my AS-Levels!

I'm now living in America, with two degrees to my name, preparing to get married!

Things HAVE changed a great deal in that time!

Me and Steve were house hunting while the series was airing (and after for a little while too) which was fun and scary.

I was in the middle of the first year of my MSc, so was very busy as I was working full time too. It was enjoyable, but tricky balancing my time

It's okay, Andrew... I went to "the other place" - there's no way they wouldn't have let me not do A-Levels, lest it damage the school's reputation!

I was working in a job where I was taking a lot of daily abuse, so pretty fed up. By the time of Parting Of The Ways I was on a much better project, and had a really good mentor who set me on the path I'm on now. W00t!

Cameron had only just started football training. Which seems odd now considering how skilled he is.

Then, I was planning world domination from a secret HQ under Loughton Library. I am now Rupert Murdoch. Draw your own conclusions.

I was living in Bracknell and I switched jobs from doing IT Support at the local college in Bracknell to doing IT Support in London. I started working in London just over a week after the 7/7 London bombings.

I was working for the Tube and was based at Baker Street in 2005. We were living in the house we are in now and really all that's changed is that I moved to South Kensington and we ahve all got a bit older.

Sorry, maybe I'm being a bit dim, Duncan, but does that mean you moved your house to South Kensington, too..?

Ah, no but I can see why you thought that when I re-read my post.

I moved offices from Baker Street to South Kensington.
