Comic Relief launched with new-style red noses
    Rebecca Smithers
    Wednesday January 31, 2007
    The Guardian

Sainsbury's will today help to launch this year's Comic Relief charity campaign by putting new-style red noses on sale in its supermarkets.

It has ordered a record 8m of the noses, which each contain a chocolate square - the equivalent of 40 tonnes of Fairtrade chocolate. When the white chocolate squares are held up to the light, a character from Wallace & Gromit or Doctor Who is revealed.

The chocolate is made with cocoa beans bought from the Kuapa Kokoo farmers' cooperative in Ghana, which will receive a $6,000 (3,060) premium to invest in improving village life.
Tennant is also meant to be appearing with Bonnie Langford in the video for the Peter Kay/Matt Lucas version of 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)'. The official Comic Relief song is the Girls Aloud/Sugababes cover of 'Walk This Way'.

Is that a Fairtrade web site, part of the Make Visually Attractive Websites History campaign? It looks about a million years old... rather like Katherine Tate in that picture.

Hopefully DT and BL will be smacking up the two talentless wankers with a big garden spade. I'd give a great deal of money to Comic Relief if they did.

You can imagine the last person on Earth who has managed to resist buying new Doctor Who, watching new Doctor Who or having a Cyberman thrust in their face when they go shopping. He thinks it's safe. He carefully buys a new Red Nose, opens it up.... arggggghhhhhh! There is no escape!!!

On the other hand, Tennant/Bonnie Langford - WTF?!? OMG!!!1!1!!! Best TARDIS crew we never had!!! Lol.

    Si.

    How Utterly Evil!

    Sainsbury's love us.
Are these available yet? I suppose I'll answer that myself if I pop in for a look on the way home.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

I bought two today from Sainsbury's and they've both got Tennant's mug on the chocolate. I'm going to eat one and leave the other one sealed.

We shall hunt them down like stinking dogs in Sainsburys tommorrow.

Those Timmy Mallet photos have given me wood, time for some eye-candy...someone should point out to him that it's not 2006 anymore...

Tennant is appearing in Catherine Tate's Comic Relief sketches, according to an OG member who was at the recording. He's playing Lauren's new English teacher.
