I can understand that - but to come with a list of "barred" questions that are not even personal & intruding is a bit Prima Donna-ish.

    Disinformation about the STATUS QUO!

If I had a TARDIS I'd go back earlier in the year to see first hand the meltdown the Status Quo forum had to the "Bula Quo" single! The board had to be shut down for days!!!
The offending thread was deleted when it came back up.
P.S. I still didn't get to see the "Bula Quo" film, was it any good?

Today at work I had to order a book on Heat Treatment... the author is called Tubal Cain. Now, am I going mad, or is that the name of a Time Lord in the DWM Davison comic strips?!!!

The Internet tells me that he was in charge of the Time Lord mental asylum in the 8th Doctor comic strip The Final Chapter, but that he was a returning character from The Stockbridge Horror (I have a feeling he might have been the one in charge of the War TARDIS that is tricked into firing Time Torpedoes at Gallifrey)

The Internet also has lots of pages linking the name to secret passwords and the Masons !!

So you're not going mad, Andrew, but you do remember the oddest things.....

This conversation ensued here after The Space Pirates Episode 2.

ROD: No, don't take the DVD out! That means the rest are recons.
BRENDAN: Sorry. The rest are still in Africa.
ROD: No they aren't. It'll be OK- if you promise me there are only four episodes of this rubbish.
BRENDAN: You want me to lie?
    ROD: Yes.
BRENDAN: There are only four episodes of The Space Pirates-
    ROD: Thank you.
    BRENDAN: To go.
    ROD: ****.

BT's on demand service suddenly has "Resistance is Useless" available to watch. As in the 1992 voice of the anorak clip show that was the very beginning of my becoming a Dr Who follower. I've not seen it for many, many years but I'm eager to.
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?

If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

After I'd posted, I ended up Googling it as well Jon, in case I was going mad... and you're right, there are pages and pages of various Tubal Cains aren't there. I'm beginning to wonder whether it's some massive in-joke.

And I'm certain he fired the rockets in one of the Davison strips, yes, my recollection on the McGann strips is shaky at best, so I don't think I'd recall him from there.

Watching "Battlefield" on Watch. And... if they can edit out Ace's racial er... slant (Sorry, sorry! I was looking for a better word honest!) then why couldn't they have edited out "BOOOOOOOOM!" or "THERE WILL BE NO BATTLE HERE!" or the laugh that never ends?

We finished The War Games today, and this was Rod's final word.

"I definitely saw that go out in the 70s, and on repeats, but I don't think I saw the last two episodes. I didn't know the Time Lords were in it. I thought that the War Chief was the Master, and that he was going to kill the Second Doctor, setting up for their rivalry in the Pertwee era."

He has never read a fanzine or New Adventure, ladies and gentleman, and he's managed to figure out the War Chief/Master link.

    Oooh, coconut macaroons!

I should have said 'theory'. A lot of fans have speculated that the War Chief is the Master (I don't think that myself).

Of all of Doctor Who’s incidental music, there’s none so emotive as Paddy Kingsland’s early scores.

Hi, can I just point out that you are one of the sanest Doctor Who forums for the simple fact that when the docudrama shows in less than half an hour, you'll all be watching it to give it your full attention and not commenting on it constantly, like other Doctor Who forums I could mention!
