Doctor Who Official ‏@bbcdoctorwho 36 mins36 minutes ago
Time frame for MASSIVE #DoctorWho news: hours, not days.
And it’s much bigger news than some people are guessing…

    https://twitter.com/bbcdoctorwho

Hours! Get them guesses rolling in! New missing episode discoveries? Departure of the current Doctor or production team? The first two episodes of the new series to be repeated over and over again for a week at the expense of all other BBC shows until people like them?
We've got a few hours left, get those guesses going!

    11pm apparently

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Missing episodes or the new companion?

    Thanks for the timeframe, Si!
So I now have time to make myself a cup of tea after all!

A new companion who is introduced this series or in the Christmas special?
I'd rather have missing episode announcements. Nothing against the new show, but the discovery of one complete serial would be massive news.
I'm certain we'll never get The Dalek's Masterplan recovered.

Or maybe it would be the clarity over the rumoured "No new series for 2016" once and for all.

My final answer is missing episode announcement. (Just as well this forum doesn't approve or allow gambling, or have I not got enough privileges to access that part of the forum yet?)

I reckon either new companion, or another "Two Doctors" this time with Paul McGann :-) That's a complete guess BTW

I may have mentioned this but a sitcom with Hindle, Harrison Chase and Professor Laskey sharing a flat could be a lot of fun.

"THE FACE OF EVIL" in two episodes a night over Christmas on BBC Four!
    28th and 29th of December.
Sadly, it'll probably be a one off.

At work, I had the opportunity to say:

    "Your people,
    Your people,
    They are MY people now!"

    But I didn't.

That's probably a good thing as no one would have got the reference

I've checked the schedule for next week, and The Horror Channel seem to be ending their repeat run with "The Curse Of Fenric" and then that's it!

It's been fun having it on in the background and I made the effort to catch at least two of the three daily showing each time it was on.
    I'll miss it!
    Thank you The Horror Channel.

I notice that in the famous heart to heart in Tomb of the Cybermen, Victoria doesn't ask the obvious and expected "Doctor, is there an afterlife? Will i see my father again one day?".

Perhaps because it's not in keeping with the tone of their conversation.

Things you will never hear on Doctor Who:

CAPALDI-DOC: There's cheese in this sandwich! Surely you know I'm lactose intolerant!

    CLARA: Sorry....

CAPALDI-DOC: Sorry?! Do you know how sick this is going to make me? Now stand outside the TARDIS bathroom door, I want to yell at you some more!

    Enjoy!

We've been 3 times - twice when Matt Smith Doctor & once with Peter Capaldi. Don't think we're gonna manage a trip this year.

Dr. Who Enters The Stephen King Universe

So what if the Doctor landed his Tardis in the New England scenarios of Stephen King and encountered....

The Spider Monster/Killer Clown from IT. The Spider in the novel was an Alien left behind by a Other World craft in Prehistoric times. This could've been one of the Spiders from Metebelis 3 from Jon Pertwee's PLANET OF THE SPIDERS

The zombie creatures from PET SEMATARY which is revealed as a sinister scheme concocted by his nemesis The Master... or the Master joins forces with the Vampire residents of 'Salem's Lot to do Lord knows what...

The Rani decides to befriend the tormented Carrie White and have her use her telekenetic powers to achieve an evil scheme on Earth...

The Doctor and whatever companion(s)try to prevent the evil of the Alien Craft in THE TOMMYKNOCKERS from being unleashed....

So anyway, in The Green Death, the following things happen:
    - The Doctor goes on a quest to the outer regions of space in search of knowledge, where he finds a crystal that turns out to be dangerous.
    - Maggots grow to a giant size.
    - The Nuthutch is a matriarchy that gives the hero what they need to defeat their enemy.
    - The main villain is a computer, perhaps a symbol of masculine technology.
    - The main villain threatens to join together with other computers, becoming all powerful.
    - In the end, the feminine side of the Nuthutch defeats the masculine side of technology and the female regular leaves.

    In Planet of The Spiders:
    - One of the Doctor's companions goes on a quest to the inner regions of the mind in search of knowledge, where he finds something that turns out to be dangerous.
    - Spiders grow to a giant size.
    - The Monastary is a patriarchy that gives the hero what they need to defeat their enemy.
    - The main villain is a spider, perhaps a symbol of female cunning.
    - The main villain threatens to join together with other minds, becoming all powerful.
    - In the end, the masculine side of the Monastery defeats the feminine side of the spiders and the male regular leaves.

I should get back to work.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!
