Met Colin Baker at Film, TV and Toy Collectors Fair
I have just returned from the Film, TV and Toy Collectors Fair at the Mountbatten Centre in Portsmouth. As well as meeting the operator of the left half of Star Wars's Jabba the Hutt, I also met and got a signed photo from the man himself, Colin Baker! I was quite nervous about going up to him because I haven't yet seen any of his stories (shame on me) but he was really friendly and chatty. I also briefly showed him the cartoony pictures of him from www.redscharlach.co.uk (he quite liked those).
I also saw a manually operatored Dalek, a working TARDIS console prop, the TARDIS itself and a remote control K9! (I had my photo taken between the TARDIS and the Dalek).
All in all, a wonderful outing and a very nice man (the first Doctor that I have ever met)! I really look forward to seeing his stories in the future!
PS: I also saw a man dressed as Tom Baker in his grey coat and woman dressed as Amy Pond in her policewoman's outfit!

I've met Colin on a number of ocassions, he's great, very friendly, chatty and always willing to sign anything. He was especially friendly to my daughter everytime we met, always singing to her "Once in love with Amy" she got to look forward to that.
