If the Doctor had been a woman

Sorry if this sounds a bizarre thread but back in DWM 268 (July 1998), I think, there was an article about how the Doctor may have been if it was a female playing the lead. The editors cast eight actresses who couls have played the part.

First Doctor: Hermione Baddeley, but I've gone for her sister Angela, as she was probably like her and died in the mid seventies (like Hartnell). Hermione could be the female equivalent of Richard Hurndall.
Second Doctor: Vivian Pickles
Thrid Doctor: Liz Fraser
Fourth Doctor: Frances de la Tour
Fifth Doctor: Jan Francis
Sixth Doctor: Lynda Bellingham
Seventh Doctor: Pauline Melville
Eighth Doctor: Miranda Richardson

However, I was wondering who could be the female equivalents for Doctors 9-11. I have thought of ones for The Curse of Fatal Death doctors:

Ninth Doctor: Victoria Wood
Tenth Doctor: it used to be Blythe Duff from Taggart but now it's Juliet Stevenson, as she was one of the voices in the first series of The Legends of Treasure Island alongside Richard E. Grant
Eleventh Doctor: Jo Brand or Dawn French
Twelfth Doctor: Kate Winslet
Thirteenth Doctor: Gareth Hunt

Anyone have any ideas for the above or other Doctors i.e. Peter Cushing, Trevor Martin etc?

Tracked this thread down. Who could be the female John Hurt? Maybe Sigourney Weaver but she's American so perhaps not. Who could be the female Peter Capaldi? Are there any middle-aged actresses who constantly swear in shows?

Perhaps Capaldi's co-star from the Thick of It, Rebecca Front. She's very talented, could be good.

For Hurt they'd probably got someone like Judi Dench or Eileen Atkins perhaps?
