Well, it's been a while since we've done a thread on this. So, without further ado, what are your 10 favourite Doctor Who stories of ALL TIME!? There's only one rule to this: only Doctor Who televised stories count. No books, no Big Finish, no PS audios, no spin-offs!

    Spearhead from Space
    The Girl in the Fireplace

    The Sensorites

    Colony in Space
    Planet of the Daleks
    Terror of the Vervoids

Bit surprised at 2 McCoys and no 4ths or 5ths but that's what felt right this morning.
Dennis, Francois, Melba and Smasher are competing to see who can wine and dine Lola Whitecastle and win the contract to write her memoirs. Can Dennis learn how to be charming? Can Francois concentrate on anything else when food is on the table? Will Smasher keep his temper under control?

If only the 28th century didn't keep popping up to get in Dennis's way...

Nice to see someone else loves The Eleventh Hour too I was a bits surprised to find myself putting that in the list, but the more I think about it, the more I love it.

It's how I felt at the time - I've never been more excited after an episode and I don't think I ever will be again. That said, I would probably have forgotten it if you hadn't put it on your list as I didn't think any new series stories would make my "favourites" list.

No-one will mind if you want to go back and replace City of Death and 5 Doctors with Talons and Pyramids if you want to , Si (though I don't think you'd get away with dropping Eleventh Hour and Genesis for Blink and Planet of Evil )

    The Eleventh Hour
Bad Wolf/The Parting Of The Ways
    Marco Polo

(I did have Ghost Light in there, but it got shifted out to make way for Logopolis after seeing it in Andrew's list)

I stand by it! It had long scenes that were takes of dialogue! What's not to love?

That's what makes being a fan so fun- disagreeing with everyone else about what's good!
