Font of all Knowledge?
With apologies for the dreadful thread title, a simple question - does anybody know what font the old Target books used back in the 70s?

I thought Si'd know. He knows most things Doctor Who & if he doesn't know it, it's probably not worth knowing.

Further confusion now - the Futura Bold fonts I can find online all have quite distinctively 'angular' letters (eg, the lower-case j is just a line with a dot (like an elongated i)), which is quite different to the look of the font in The Three Doctors (closest book to hand). Do we think the font has itself changed in these computerised times, now that fonts aren't something 'mystical' that only publishers use?
