Some statistics
So, now that we've got 5 seasons of "Planet Skaro Goes Back..." under our belts, I've calculated some statistics, which I hope that I'll be able to recalculate (since we're keeping the polls open for previous seasons), and keep updated with each further season that we do.
So, I'll start with our Top Ten stories by average so far. I've put down the average rating, along with the number of votes in brackets:
1. The Daemons - 8.5 (12)
2. Terror of the Autons - 8.47 (19)
3. The Time Warrior - 8.45 (16)
4. Dalek - 8.4 (15)
5. Father's Day - 8.29 (14)
6. Logopolis - 8.25 (20)
7. The Mind of Evil - 8.2 (15)
8= Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways - 8.15 (13)
8= State of Decay - 8.15 (13)
10. The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances - 7.91 (11)
And followed by our bottom 10:
10. Warriors' Gate - 6.88 (16)
9. The Leisure Hive - 6.21 (19)
8. Colony in Space - 6 (15)
7. Paradise Towers - 5.88 (17)
6. Aliens of London/World War Three - 5.8 (15)
5. Delta and the Bannermen - 5.54 (13)
4. Dragonfire - 5.4 (15)
3. The Monster of Peladon - 5.27 (11)
2. Time and the Rani - 4.67 (18)
1. Meglos - 4.57 (14)
Season averages are below, ranked in order:
1. Season 8 - 7.71
2. Series 1 - 7.4
3. Season 11 - 7.33
4. Season 18 - 7.05
5. Season 24 - 5.37
So, it's fairly clear cut that, on average, Season 24 has, so far, been Planet Skaro's least favourite season in retrospect. Pertwee's seasons continue to dominate, but we'll see what stays up and what stays down as we continue to look back at more seasons.
