Colin Baker now Honorary President of DWAS

For those that weren't there (myself included) I've found a youtube video of Colin Baker's acceptance speech from the Day of the Daleks screening last sunday. Sadly the way the light has caught Colin so you can't see his face means it looks like he's regenerating. Very amusing comment about 7 minutes in that's worth watching for...

Whilst I appreciate that DWAS is something of an irrelevance these days it's still nice to see although I couldn't help imagining that Coordinator had to stop himself from saying that Colin had polled 53 votes as opposed to 53% of the vote (should clarify I'm commenting specifically on the DWAS as I am a huge fan of Colin's Doctor).

Well, Colin is full of enthusiasm for Doctor Who these days. In various interviews, he's praised the new series, praised Big Finish for letting him come back. He seems to get on very well with all the other living Classic Doctors.

Frankly, I don't think that there's a better person to follow in the footsteps of Jon Pertwee and Nicholas Courtney.
