Looks like it could be 5 years as that's how much funding Harold Wilson has given to the project :-)

Just finished State of Emergency - fine performances all round although the "I thought you loved me Julian" stuff was a tad unoriginal. I just love Sir Toby's voice - soothing yet sinister at the same time. Can't wait to listen to Season 2.

Oops sorry Junkyard - should have read your post first!

Just finished Manhunt - although the gender discrimination issue was rather laid on with a trowel ( and yes I did spot the characters called Emma, Tara and Catherine!), I did enjoy this dark story. Looking forward to finding out why Sir Toby has gone to such extreme lengths to hide his past...

The Fifth Citadel - wonderfully bleak story with a tragic ending. Sir Toby is definitely my fave CM character. That voice was just made for audio!

I love the bleak end of these stories. I bet the cast loved this one - a chance to be really nasty to each other!

Glad to hear that you're enjoying Countermeasures. I've already ordered Series 3. You might enjoy 'The Assassination Games' as well.

    Series Three is out!!!!

Episode 1. Changing of the Guard.
Sir Toby faces an inquest on his deeds in series 2, whilst the rest of the team deals with an East End gangster who seems able to be in two places at the same time.

    Episode 2. The Concrete Cage.
A case of a haunted tower block turns out to be more than it appears. Fairly standard plot but very well performed.

    Episode 3. The Forgotten Village.
A better title would be 'Village of Lost Memory' but that might give too much away. Karen Gledhill puts in a superb performance as Alison and, as usual, not everything is as it seems.

    Episode 4. Unto The Breach.
Aaaargh!! Series end cliff-hanger!!! This is so unbearable I've already pre-ordered Series 4. Don't say I didn't warn you but this drops all four of our heroes deep in the doo-doo.

Really enjoying Series 3 at the moment. Just finished the second story set in a tower block with some very weird goings on. The disembodied old lady voice sounded so much like Mrs Wibbsey!

Although some of BF's Who range is good, most are only okay. Some are clunkers. I get much more enjoyment from their other ranges - Counter Measures, The Avengers, Blake's 7 and Jago & Litefoot.
