These look to be on the way back from the dead! Matthew Waterhouse's reading of "Full Circle" and Katy Manning's "Carnival of Monsters" are apparently on the way!

A recent DWM reported that the BBC had organised a new distributor for their DW CD, if not their entire range, so good news for all!

Carnival of Monsters - Katy Manning in November 2014

January 2015 we get Full Circle read by Matthew Waterhouse and An Unearthly Child read by William Russell. This means we can relive the continuity confusion between that book and The Daleks all over again, as Ian and Barbara join the Doctor and Susan twice!

In February 2015, Remembrance of The Daleks is due, read by noted airline-safety-video star Sylvester McCoy.

I hope he has his oxygen mask and inflatable life belt at the ready when abseiling into the Dalek shuttle craft.

A new story title seems to have been added to the release schedule for this. And it is...

    "The Ark in Space"!

To be read by Ian Marter's surviving pet dog, Rufus.

"State of Decay" is next up, read by John Leeson. Not the Tom talking book, obviously, although I hope he sneaks some phrases in like "Cabbage and Kings!" and "The TARDIS was faint, erratic to say the least." as a homage.

    It'll just feel wrong.

For those of us who are that used to Tom doing it, the thought of anyone else doing it, let alone John, with no disrespect to him... Mind you even I'm intrigued as to how he'll do the Doctor.

If you're that intrigued you can always get his readings of The Ribos Operation and Androids of Tara!

I'll keep an eye out for them then. I don't follow the range so I wasn't aware he'd recorded any.

    I'll rephrase that...

I think I've got just about every one of these, even though they are hard going and there are a few I've struggled to finish. Carry John's Inferno was a slog, as I recall.

Have they added that little picture of Ace? She looks a bit like a vampire, although I'm not sure that was the intention.

She was on the original. I think they've touched up McCoy though as he was half green before

Better not have that one on while driving.
Unless of course it's surprisingly amazeballs.

BBC Shop seem to have a sale on the recent Target Audiobooks, slashing everything from the £20 RRP price to £15.99p. On top of that if you order today and use the code VALENTINE you get an additional 14% off. These haven't been that cheap lately so I'm quite pleased to have ordered State of Decay and Death to the Daleks for a combined £27.50p including postage.
