    Default Target Audioboooks Return!

The Wiki page for Doctor Who audiobooks has the following listed:

January 2012 - The Twin Dilemma
    February 2012 - Earthshock

Both in dire need of 7 hour versions for sure.

I'm very behind with this years releases- still got to get The Chase, Inferno, the War Games and Ghost Light. Fury from the Deep might be a great story but the Target book reading was long and dull. And that's from me and I generally like them!

The "Fury" audiobook single handedly killed off my interest in the range! I'm glad I wasn't alone.

Ricky Soweird is getting out there! I wonder who will read them? Kevin McNally would be awesome for Twin Dilemma...

... but not as awesome as Helen Blatch.
Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

It's a shame because there are loads of really good ones, but I know what you mean. Fury was just long and dull and "Don't go down to the impeller shaft" and "red brick university" and yawn, yawn, yawn.

I've just done Ribos and loved that one, so maybe I'll get back into them.

I would like a Colin/ Frazer Two Doctors next year please.

I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Colin Baker said on Twitter that he was due to start recording it today.

She was at Acceptable in the 80s a couple of weeks ago and was very nice. Barry Stanton was good fun as well.

I've got a few of these I've not heard yet.

Gary Gillatt seems annoyed that Colin is "lining Eric Sawards Pockets" after past differences by recording this audio. No different from him doing the "Attack" abridged audio book in the eighties though?

Rumours abound that Paradise Towers is coming next year along with a new novelisation of Resurrection of the Daleks by Steve Lyons... oooh!

Lovely! I hope Briggs does them in the style of David Banks. It would just be wrong otherwise.

Following "Paradise Towers" in April comes "The Sensorites" in May, according to Amazon!

And then "Ressurection of the Daleks", "The Androids of Tara" and "The Web Of Fear".

"Ressurection" is currently £7.65p to pre-order on Amazon, this will probably go up nearer the release so I advise ordering now!

There seem to be two versions of Resurrection listed on amazon; a Steve Lyons version due in May and an Eric Saward version due in October. Any explanation for this or just amazon getting it wrong as they occasionally do?

I think that, confusingly, the Steve Lyons one is a Matt Smith New Series audiobook. Which is pretty cackhanded.

    Oooh, coconut macaroons!
