Very nice Si. Reminds me of The Three Doctors...
For every fail, there is an equal and opposite win.

I'm glad you like it, something of a fluke as I'm not really a good photographer usually. The water was almost completely frozen over, by the way.

You can almost picture Mr Ollis investigating the Weather Balloon of Doom.

Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Where from? It's a good one! The flashing light is brilliant. Maybe only let down by the fact that the snow somehow gives away the sense of scale... otherwise you wouldn't know.

It's Rigellian snow actually. They also like to build buildings with very large bricks as you can see in the background. And it's one I made myself a little over a year ago. Normall it just has CDs inside it but the snow made me take it for a stroll

Keswick in the Lake District
Time for an update. Here're some photos from the Lake District this week. I stayed in Keswick in the Northen Lakes. The last picture was taken with my compact Panasonic TZ5, and the rest with my first DSLR Sony Alpha A330.

Great pics. I love St Ives (although I rarely get into The Sloop as it's always so crowded). I prefer the pubs in the streets.
I've done The Eden Project too - that was fantastic!!!
