    Default The PS Photography Thread

I thought I'd set up a thread for any budding photographers (like myself) to showcase their snaps. I'll start with some photographs I took in Kent at the weekend.

All ships photographed at Chatham Historic Dockyard.

    HMS Cavalier

    HMS Gannet 2 Photos

    Rochester Castle

    Rochester Cathedral

Nice Photos Darren. Especially like the first one of Rochester Castle. The way you've captured the sheer size of it is quite breathtaking!

Those are excellent photos Darren - this is one of my favourites taken last year with my camera phone...

This is a Winter sunset I took in Ferryside South Wales with my old SLR

This is one I took in the French Alps last August with my new Digi Camera , the trees give it scale

And finally, one on Mont Blanc again last year

These are the only ones I had handy for now

Darren, those photos are great. While you were at the Dockyard, did you get to see the submarine, HMS Ocelot?

    Oh yes!

Though with my camera and a rucksack, I couldn't manage to go inside.

This was the lovely pool I was swimming in in Turkey earlier this month.

EDIT: I have removed the picture as its WAY to big!
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

It's been 2 years since I last posted some photographs , and they now seem unavailable, so I'll start an update with some recent museum images. They were all taken with my compact, Panasonic TZ5. All images link back to my Flickr photostream.

This is the only photo I have ever taken that I thought had any artistic merit at all!

Those are great pictures Darren, particularly the one of the Minster roof. It's really well composed.
